Planning & Zoning
The Planning and Zoning Department processes development applications through City staff, Planning Commission, and City Council. The Planning and Zoning staff coordinates with other City departments' review of applications as they are submitted. The staff also provides assistance to the Planning Commission and City Council. The Planning and Zoning Department also maintains and updates the City's Development Code and the City's General Plan and various master plans.
Development Review Committee Meetings
Alpine City holds a Development Review Committee (DRC) meeting each Monday morning at 9 am at City Hall. No appointment is necessary to attend - the meeting is on a first come/first served basis. If Monday is a holiday, the meeting is generally moved to Tuesday at 9 am. If you are considering developing any property, please attend a DRC meeting before proceeding.
