PARC Tax Information

During the 2024 election, Alpine City residents voted in favor of the Parks, Arts, Recreation, and Culture (PARC) Tax and we are already seeing the benefits of that decision. We estimate that the PARC tax will generate approximately $120,000 per year that will be allocated by the City Council for improvements to parks throughout the city.

Work has officially begun on the “new” Burgess Pavilion. Once completed, it will offer a refreshed, functional gathering space and will be ready for public use and reservation in the spring of 2026. In addition, several much-needed benches have been installed along the pathway, giving residents a comfortable place to rest during walks, enjoy community activities, or simply take in the beautiful mountain views that make Alpine special.
