This is an urgent message from Alpine City. . .
With the early heat, dry conditions and low water coming from the mountains, the City is experiencing very high demand on the pressurized irrigation system.
The City is asking all residents to please cut your water use by 25% for the next two days to allow the system to rebound.
All available water sources are being used and we are not gaining ground. More restrictions may be required if usage is not controlled.
Water restrictions are in place for 3 days per week from 7 pm to 7 am, according to the published schedule online at www.alpineut.gov, and the restrictions will be enforced.
