You may have seen ADA (Americans with Disability Act) ramps being upgraded at some of the intersections on Main Street and 100 West. Alpine City applied for a grant through the Community Development Block Grant program administered by Mountainland Association of Governments the last two years to assist in bringing some ADA ramps into compliance. The City was awarded grants in both years, with $70,000 being awarded for 2025, with an additional 33% match being required. The City will be replacing approximately twenty ADA ramps. The work is anticipated to be completed by the middle of December.
