Meetings

  • 8 pm (until approximately 9 pm)
  • 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month
  • In addition, there are also mandatory service projects and activities required each month

Joining the Council

Applications for Alpine Youth Council 2026-2027 are accepted until March 3, 2026. Due to the number of responses we receive, this deadline is firm and no applications will be accepted after this date. The new council will serve from May 2026 to May 2027. Interviews will be held on March 4th or March 5th. You will select your preferred date on your application and are responsible for attending. No reminder will be sent. Past Activities

Some past activities include:

  • Display flags along Main Street and in the City Cemetery for flag holidays
  • Activities with the residents of River Meadows Assisted Living
  • Plant flowers at the City Cemetery for Memorial Day and serve breakfast to veterans
  • Various Alpine Days activities such as water games, the parade, and concessions
  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Santa Comes to Alpine
  • Host Meet the Candidates night
  • Attend the Youth City Council Leadership Institute at Utah State University
  • Serve dinner to the homeless in downtown Salt Lake City
  • Food Drive for the local Food Bank
